M.A.T. (first name of Michael) was born on November 25th, 1987 in the Peach State of Georgia. Born with a serious heart defect, he is a heart patient that happens to be a living miracle. The problem he has was tetrology of fallot. Through numerous heart surgeries (with the most recent one October 5th, 2004), he has built his life around the inspiration that there is a living God to believe and trust in.
Photography runs through Michael's family. His grandparents were involved in children's photography, working with real-live ponies to work with, dressing the children up in costumes of Western-wear. Their photography also ranges in Western-wear for sets without ponies, also working in seasonal scenes like Christmas and Thanksgiving, and lots of other ways too. As a young boy, Michael helped his grandparents throughout their photography by posing for their advertisements for Wal-Mart, malls, and many other arrays of places. Today, he builds his random photography among their inspiration to him.
Michael is a graduate of Jackson County High School, having been enrolled there since November 2003 of his sophomore year of high school. At first, he was hoping to become either a game show host or meteorologist, since game shows has been in his interests ever since he was 6 months old, watching The Price is Right instead of cartoons, and meteorlogy since he kept watching the weather reports on his local news station. However, learning that it'd be difficult to become a game show host and meteorlogist, he decided to go into computers. He's been around computers ever since learning Kid Pix in elementary school, and took his skills further with PowerPoint when he was in 7th grade. In his senior year of high school, he took classes on web design, and after those 5 months, he graduated on May 26th, 2006 on his school's football field.
One of Michael's distant memories of high school was that during his senior year, he also took a database course called Oracle Programming, which was the year it debuted at JCCHS. It started out with a span of 13 students, which had 11 other guys other than him, and 1 girl. However, the class was knocked down to 9 when 4 of the boys were spotted for hacking, which Michael wasn't too impressed about when 2 of them wanted Michael in on it. Michael didn't get Oracle-certified, though his teacher said not to be surprised, as it's one of the most difficult situations to get through.
