RULES OF MY PHOTOGRAPHY

Michael T. Photography is dedicated to give you the photography service and friendliness that you can trust, helping preserve tomorrow's memories for tomorrow. However, there are a few rules and obligations that must be attended to before, during, and after the photoshoot. By following these rules, the photoshoot and payments will be the greatest of ease. Explanation:


The session fee is paid for the photographer's time and effort in taking the pictures. Session fees vary from photographer to photographer. My fee for photography sessions start at $10.00, but varies upon the distance I have to travel to the designated location for the photoshoot. However, the session fee is due at the time of photography. If not paid, the photography session will be cancelled or rescheduled to fit your needs. Take note, the session fee is non-refundable.


There are times when the flash (used indoors) and sunlight (outdoors) is necessary to bring sharpness, brightness, and quality to the pictures. However when this happens, some of the flash or the sunlight may reflect on your skin, which may overpower the picture(s). If and when necessary, apply a little face powder (yes, this includes males too) to reduce the flash and sunlight brightness. Also look as neat as possible, with hair combed

It is required that you wear clean clothing. However, brightly-colored garments may make your skin look pale in the picture, and it may dominate the picture. Consider your clothing in advance before the photoshoot

Cleanliness is always a must in photography. As stated above, it is a good idea to wear a little face powder in bright situations and have hair combed. But if and when your nails may be a focus point in pictures, be sure they are absolutely clean. If you have a manicure and/or pedicure, be sure it is as solid as possible, with minimum-to-no cracks in the polish

Outdoor photography may be good, but definitely keep an eye on the weather. If the weather is predicted to be bad on that day, I may give you a call to find out if you are still wanting a photoshoot on that day, though indoor locations may be better if weather is bad. If however, you wish to reschedule your photography appointment due to bad weather, that can be arranged as well. It all depends on what you'd like to do.

After the photoshoot takes place, I will review all the pictures with you to ensure your satisfaction. If any pictures must be retaken for any reason, we can try again right then and there, or reschedule for another day, according to your schedule if necessary. When all the pictures meet your satisfactory, we will discuss payment issues. Order depends on what size of the picture you want, if you want a CD included, and other options too. Now, it is not required you pay the full amount right then and there (unlike the session fee, described above), but your order will not be sent to you until the full payment of your order is received. Many restaurants and other places recommend children of a certain age to remain with their parent or legal guardian to ensure their safety. For Michael T. Photography, supervision will apply to children under the age of 10, parents or legal guardian suggested. For people at the age of 11+, they may be accompanied by either their friend or relative or legal guardian. If at the age of 18 or over and you have proper I.D. (driver's license suggested), you have the option to be alone at your photoshoot, yet you can still be accompanied by a friend or parent if you wish.
